We had the best time during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipment, the screened in porch is perfectly positioned for a view of Turtle Lake, the yard was great for outdoor games and sitting around the bonfire just to mention a few if the perks. Direct access to the lake for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding was the icing on the cake for our family vacation enjoyment. We would definitely recommend this property and plan to stay here again the next time we visit the Northwoods.

The perfect location! We enjoyed or stay - the cabin had everything we needed for the 2 months stay. All and any of our questions were answered immediately! We saw a deer every morning and enjoyed the snow for snowmobiling. Snow removal for the driveway was well maintained. We will be staying again!

The property was clean & exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. The location is peaceful & private with restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment nearby. We especially enjoyed the comfy beds! While the weather didn't cooperate, we were still able to fish, hike & enjoy the bikes. The property manager Brooke was extremely pleasant & helpful. We have stayed at this cabin before & we will definitely be back!

This was our first stay at Sportsman’s, but not our first stay with the manager. Both were great. Close to MW and PI. Lots of stuff to do. Glad we made the last minute decision to go north this Labor Day weekend. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful time at this authentic cabin on the water. :) When the place we stayed last year wasn't available we took a chance on an unknown property and, guess what, it is our new favorite Northwoods cabin! We loved: the big mosquito-free screen porch, the mouse-free interior, the rowboat (for fishing and just tooling around), the comfortable bed, the excellent selection of pots and pans, the new stove, and the location - near everything we wanted to do, including some of the last old-growth forests in the area. We highly recommend this Authentic Cabin!

Beautiful home on Star Lake in Manitowish Waters to enjoy the outdoors and lake. Plenty of space for a large group. House furnished beautifully, beds comfy, necessary supplies stocked. Very responsive to questions. We will be back!

This house was perfect for our family getaway. It was super clean, well-stocked, and located near tons of activities on and off the lake. We loved the sunrises on the screened-in porch and listening to the loons. We even saw a family of eagles in a huge nest at the south end of the lake. We will be returning to this house again!

Well done Snuffy's Place!! By far one of the nicest, "well thought out" rentals we have stayed in. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a white albino deer and her baby in the driveway! The outside of this newly renovated home is stunning, but the inside does not disappoint. The basement area is perfect for the kids so they can all stay together, and the adults are in the beautifully decorated bedrooms. The enormous kitchen and eating area makes for lots of family/cooking time together, but let me rave about the screened in porch....it should be a must for any home in the northwoods since you can't be outside after 7pm unless you want to be devoured by mosquitoes. It is a great place for playing cards at the 2nd dining table and chatting on the patio furniture. From having coffee in the morning while otters play right off the dock, to the gorgeous sunsets at night, this home is truly made for an extremely memorable vacation. Thank you to the homeowners and Brooke from BCR for helping to accomodate us when our rental fell through. Everything was better than we could have imagined :)
