Inside this authentic cabin, you will find yourself feeling a sense of nostalgic for the slower days! There is a full kitchen with serene lake views, a dining space both inside and outside on a screened in porch and a living room with plenty of seating for your whole group! Additionally, there are two bedrooms on the main floor and two full bathrooms. Downstairs, there is additional sleeping and living space which leads right out to the water!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet get-a-way location. The fishing on this lake was not great, but the calm waters made for wonderful kayaking and exploring. The host was wonderfully responsive and ensured that we had her private number in case any issues arose. We did take day explorations into the UP for waterfall excursions and then another day to visit Big Bay state park in WI. The rest of the time we stayed more local and went into Presque Isle - the veteran's memorial is amazing - as well as to Boulder Junction for coffee and a great tackle and bait shop. Thanks to the area already having had frost we literally had no mosquitos and were able to stay out on a clear night on the pier and watch shooting stars.

Our stay in Presque Isle was lovely! The kitchen was very well equipped and the rest of the home provided many different things for us to enjoy our stay. We loved the variety of board games and kayaks that were available for our use. The yard was large enough to set up a multi-person tent for sleeping outside. We had a great time grilling and making s’mores every night!! The location is very quiet and private and we felt quite at home at the cozy property. Happy to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful time at this authentic cabin on the water. :) When the place we stayed last year wasn't available we took a chance on an unknown property and, guess what, it is our new favorite Northwoods cabin! We loved: the big mosquito-free screen porch, the mouse-free interior, the rowboat (for fishing and just tooling around), the comfortable bed, the excellent selection of pots and pans, the new stove, and the location - near everything we wanted to do, including some of the last old-growth forests in the area. We highly recommend this Authentic Cabin!
